- Bile of Man + Selfmoore + All of Eternity (03 Apr 2010)
It all started on the 15th of June 2002 at a dingy strip bar in Bloemfontein: The Eager Beaver
The Homo had just lost his job in the Witbank coal mines and was forced to spend the night in Bloem after a car breakdown.
Kyle, the machine, was on a business trip. Emo Mawk was giving a love guru seminar in town and the DFG, who had recently
retired from his career in the German pornographic movie industry, happened to be on the final leg of his South African Sex Tour.
Anyway that evening all of them happened to be visiting the Eager Beaver. It didn't take them long to realize they had more in
common than their love of beer and boobies.
A week later, back in Cape Town, the guys got together for a Jam and it was awesome. A few songs were written in virtually no
time and the gigs, free booze and boobies started to roll in. Not even a year later the first album 'Bush, Bin Laden and my Mom's Naught'
was released. It was an instant success, more copies needed to printed and a few tours followed.
The excessive touring and partying soon caught the attention of Johannesburg based record label Red Ambulance. A deal was hammered
out in no time and Red Ambulance released the Half Price records ‘Taking Life Seriously" in 2004 and ‘Banned’ in 2006.
Henk, one of our (and probably your) favourite south african rockstars (ATFN, Slashdogs), NEEDS your help, he has sent out an urgent plea for everyone to go to http://liveborderless.net and vote for his video, its the 9th one on the list entitled 'a borderless tune', its awesome. Please help him out!
