Due to the sad fact that our Glorious Jozi Punk Rock Scene, has seemed to be taking on a very sad period of fragmentation... This is due to the sad fact that profiteering assholes who think everyone can just put on a show and make some friggen quick cash out of booking our punk bands that are obviously in need of playing as many shows as possible. This alone has killed the parties we remember oh so fucking patriotically, parking l...ots, cheap wine n beer and clubbing in to get some equipment and having a fucking riot. As profitless punks we've decided that it is in everyones best interests that we start throwing parties and shows that could somehow, reignite and revisit the Glory Days of Jozi City Punk. All the bands have a agreed to jam for free to hit the cause, and pretty much do their bit to get the rehab of our scene into motion. As you can see most the bands have been around since those dayz, and we've added a couple new comers that are quickly and quietly causing their own riots wherever they go... We only ask 10 bucks at the door to try cover sound and any other profits on top are going toward free fucking beer!!! We will have Mark Misconduct running his oh so noteworthy 'Drunk Punk Olympics' where we encourage everyone to get your asses into the comp and just get drinking in whatever activities he comes up with this time... Due to our amazing lack of budget, feel free to swing it around the internetweb, primary schools or bottle store parking lots... etc etc. No branded bullshit !!! This is all our show!!!

Touched By Nausea is a 6 piece hardcore punk/D-Beat band from Roodepoort, JHB. Started in February 2005. Some bands they've played with are Solitary Confinement, AWOL, Red Brigade, Light Brigade, Skelm Helm, Hasten The Storm, The Hazards, TDKM, Gross Misconduct, Oi!Rothol, Dean & The Deadbeats, Killer Monsters, Insek, Scum Chums.

TBN started as a 5 piece from 2005 to 2007. From 2007 to present, Rozanne (dual vocalist of Skelm Helm) did vocals in Brian's year absence in Europe. With Brian's return in 2008, TBN is now a 6 piece band with dual vocals. They've also adopted a new sound with the new lineup.

Yes we've been going on about this music video for the better part of the last two years, but believe it or not, we are finally going to release it. Next Friday 7 May is the day that it's all going down. We're launching it on the big screen at Mercury Live in Cape Town. Hogs will be playing at the launch party along with our good friends, the Rudimentals who you know are going to get the party stomping, plus new comers, Dustland Express will be there too to kick the night off too. We know that no one in Cape Town will really want to miss this event, but if you're in a different part of the world to us, we will also be launching the video on our website and our facebook page at midnight on the launch night. Thornrose Music is proud to present their 2nd Annual battle of the bands (Talent Scout 2010) which will take place from the 18th June 2010 – 3rd December 2010. Talent Scout 2010 will boast huge prizes such as cash, musical equipment, merch and loads more. These prizes will help any artist launch a successful career in the ever changing music industry. Talent Scout 2010 are looking for 80 original Artists to enter the competition. The first heat will take place on the 18th June 2010. Heats will take place at Cool Runnings in Fourways and The Black Dahlia (alternating) every Friday.
